My name is Anson Gordon-Creed, and I hold degrees in both Screenwriting and Business, meaning I bring creativity and strategic discipline to every project I undertake. With a lifelong passion for storytelling and a strong foundation in film production, I am eager to join your projects or team.

A Screen Writer and Lifelong Storyteller

To support my screenwriting passion I have building stories and creating intricate fictional worlds in my mind since before I could write. Since high school, I’ve immersed myself in the study of film and screenwriting. I graduated with honors from Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. Their esteemed film program taught me professional screenwriting, film production, and film theory, while also giving me practical, hands-on experience on film sets and in the industry through their internship and film production programs. 

Diverse Experience

Over the years, I’ve taken on many roles in and out of the entertainment industry that taught me valuable skills that I could use in any number of roles. My early career included positions as a clerk and assistant, where I honed my organizational and communication skills.

One of my most rewarding experiences was my work with the London Screenwriter’s Festival. There, I served as a script reader, providing critical feedback on submissions and using what I learned to write articles on what makes a script truly stand out. I also contributed as a website builder and data organizer, which was vital to the festival’s operations during the COVID pandemic.

I’m also proud of my work as a project manager with Arkansas’ leading homeless outreach group, where I worked across departments to research and implement strategies for organizational improvement. This role not only sharpened my leadership and problem-solving abilities but also solidified my commitment to using storytelling as a tool for social good when I wrote, directed and edited promotional videos for their resale stores.

Most recently, The Presidio Trust Hired me to create instructional materials for the Presidio National Park. This project involved producing training videos and digital design. I even earned my drone pilot license to capture aerial footage, and I look forward to using drones in other productions.
